Christina Noble Children’s Foundation (CNCF) was founded by the Irish writer Christina Noble, who was honored as one of world’s 36 most inspirational heroes by the Times. In the past 30 years, the organization has aided thousands of disadvantaged children in Vietnam, providing them with bare necessities and the insurmountable care needed for their well-being.
Sharing the same objectives and also wanting to provide “the rod” rather than “the fish”, CNCF has established The Encouragement Scholarship Program in partnership with HCWA in order to prevent dropouts and provide children/ youths leading a difficult life the chance to continue schooling. Following tradition, on 27th June 2020, another 35 scholarships were awarded directly to students in need from high schools, colleges and universities in and around HCMC area.
We cannot promise these scholarships will ease all the financial burdens presented to these children, but we hope that they will help keep the dream alive and the fire burning within the recipients, on their journey to build themselves a brighter future.
We would like to give a huge Thank you to the Christina Noble Children’s Foundation for cooperating with the HCWA to promote our children’s best interest: the chance to broaden their mind and ability to succeed!
