HCMC has been in battle mode since the worst wave of Covid we have ever dealt with hit the city hard.
In the spirit of ‘no child left behind’, and with support from Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tong from Vietnam Medical Association in France, the HCMC Child Welfare Association and the Green Bamboo Kitchen prepared 100 emergency gift bags including rice, instant noodles, milk, and confectionery, and gifted them to poor people in quarantine in Ong Lanh Bridge Ward, District 1 yesterday.
The Green Bamboo Center maintains our weekly free meals provision for street children and lonely elderly locals. We hope we are able to ease at least some of their difficulties during this time.
We will strictly comply with 5K regulations | in Vietnamese: Khẩu trang (Facemask) – Khử khuẩn (Disinfection) – Khoảng cách (Distance) – Không tụ tập (No gatherings) – Khai báo y tế (Health Declaration), and we will do our best to make sure everything is in order and under control. We just hope the epidemic is soon over, so that everyone can be at peace.
