Santa doesn’t come in June but no worries!! Children can still receive presents from Social ChangeMakers!! Ho Ho Ho
In the spirit of International Children’s Day June 1st, they have been handing out presents to 150 disadvantaged children in HCMC since mid-May. And most of these heartwarming gifts were for the beneficiaries of HCWA’s 3 big projects: The Green Bamboo Center – Cơ sở Bảo trợ Xã hội Tre Xanh, The Little Rose Shelter – Vietnam and Cầu Hàn, while the rest were given directly to street children that the volunteers came across.
Social distancing and gathering restrictions did throw some pebbles along the event. For that, we became more grateful towards the extra efforts that all the volunteers and donors put in so that these children can fully enjoy their holiday amid the current tough situation.
