BAGS OF LOVE FROM I-HELP SAIGON TO OUR CHILDREN

  • by

The Hội Bảo trợ trẻ em TP.HCM – HCMC Child Welfare Association would like to thank I-Help Saigon for their incredible work at mobilizing support from all over HCMC to provide our kids from The Green Bamboo Center – Cơ sở Bảo trợ Xã hội Tre Xanh, The Cầu Hàn and The Little Rose Shelter – Vietnam, not only with boxes of essential items for the projects (food, stationary, toys and cleaning products) but also for providing EVERY CHILD in our three projects with their very own individual ‘Bag of Love’  (That’s well over 100 children!!)

Every bag was individually packed with love by one of I-Help Saigon‘s incredible volunteers, containing essentials like food, cleaning products and stationary, but also containing individual toys and gifts so that every child in our care could feel special and have their own unique Tet gift to take home and keep forever

A huge thank you to Irene Moni, for reaching out to us in the first place and making this all possible, and Karen Knoblock for coordinating with our staff to make the delivery as smooth as possible! Thank you to Sabrina Vargiu and all of the generous residents of Villa Riviera for contributing generously, thanks to Nadya Kan for coordinating with the Diamond Island residents, Pierre Vu and Riverside Serviced Apartments Ho Chi Minh City for approving storage and transportation, Cindy Enriquez and the Asian Tigers for providing the bags, Huong Huong and LogicalMoves- VN for providing boxes, storage and transportation, and a huge thanks to International School Ho Chi Minh City (official) and Anne Hill International School for their donations of food, stationary and other essentials.

Thanks to the kindness and tireless work of people like I-Help Saigon, our projects are able to operate, providing food, shelter and education for underprivileged children in HCMC.
