The program Thrive Together: Advancing Child Resilience in Ho Chi Minh City is a two-year project funded by CapitaLand Vietnam under the CapitaLand Community Resilience Initiative.
The project focuses on strengthening and expanding activities at facilities under the Ho Chi Minh City Child Welfare Association to ensure that disadvantaged children have continuous access to education, physical and mental healthcare, as well as age-appropriate skills development programs. Through a child-centered and community-based approach, the program not only addresses immediate needs but also builds a long-term foundation to help children adapt, grow in confidence, and thrive amid the challenges of urban life.
The program particularly targets vulnerable groups, including migrant children, children lacking legal documentation, children with disabilities, children affected by HIV/AIDS, or those living in unsafe environments. At the same time, the project enhances the capacity of parents, staff members, and community collaborators at the facilities, helping to build a sustainable support ecosystem around children.
With the partnership of CapitaLand Vietnam, Thrive Together is not merely a standalone sponsorship activity but a strategic investment in models that the Association has developed and maintained for over three decades, aiming toward a shared goal: ensuring that no child is left behind in the city’s development journey.
